Condolence The Nabua Rugby Family is saddened to hear the passing away of a legendary icon and one of the founding fathers of the Nabua Rugby Club, Mr Sevanaia Ravono who was called to rest on Friday 10th of October 2014. We all know the achievements and the historical background of the Club and the Ravono’s family significant association to the Nabua Rugby for the last 50 years. The synonymous of the Nabua Rugby and the Ravono’s family is inseparable for those who came to be part of this Nabua Rugby Club. As our Club is celebrating its Golden Jubille this year, we are also remembering the life of one its legendary figure Mr. Sevanaia Ravono who have left us an achievements of service to the nationof Fiji ,Vanua , Lotu , the rugby paddock and its administration for us to reciprocate it in our life. We are also indebted to this great Man of God in leaving us the clear explanation of the choosing of the Club official attire rugby outfit colour and its monogram that is currently been used now by the Club. We are also grateful to the Ravono’s family for their great support and mentoring to the Club 50 year existence which is culminated to the appointment of Mr.Sunia Ravono and Mr Usaia Ravono as the Chairman and Assistant Treasurer respectively of the Nabua Rugby Club for the Season 2014-2015 and also the past 2009-2014 Club 7’s Coordinator Mr. Solomoni Ravono , which emulates their dad’s achievement as the Chairman and Captain of the Nabua Rugby XV in its founding years in the 60’s to the 80’era. The Nabua Rugby Club and the Nabua Rugby Ex Players Association will co-jointly present the Club reguregu on Wednesday evening 14th October 2014 at their residence at Maqbool Residence in Nadera. We are to meet at Mr Saimoni Raikuna residence at IBU Square on Wednesday evening 15/10/2014 before we will proceed to the Ravono’s residence at Maqbool, Nadera.
