Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:16). Daniel had a disciplined prayer life. Our prayers are usually interrupted not by threats, but simply by the pressure of our schedules. Dont let threats or pressures cut into your prayer time. Pray regularly, no matter what, for prayer is your lifeline to God. Also simple, heartfelt, full-of-faith prayers always get Gods attention. Beware of talking to impress ourselves when were praying, trying to impress God with our phrases and sounding holy. The only way prayer will ever be satisfying is if we simply involve Him in everything we do. Hes not here to be impressed...Hes here to live life with us. Just invite Him in!
