Confess your sins to one another that you may be heal...sometime we dont realize that we can put up walls even when apologizing to someone we hurt...but God way is to restore in truth and we want forgiveness and we would gladly receive it but not confessing what you done wrong to someone the actual deed does show the person your brokeness...those things we dont want to acknowledge and we then walk in a life of denial...then this is how the cycle continue to repeat itself...The behavior has not been addressed to bring about a change ...change is true repentance. ..that is how you can ask for forgiveness but it doesnt bring about any good, repent to God to acknowledge those sin that we hurt others, then you can honestly come and talk to your neighbor who you have hurt and ask for their forgiveness without putting walls up to confessing what you have done by that behavior to hurt that person...we want forgiveness but never want to confess the behavior that it was wrong...and when the one who was hurt brings up what it is that you have done to hurt them the question poses to them but I thought you forgave me why are you bringing up the past...Learn that the past repeats itself until they are truly confession of what have been done to cause someone to hurt. ..I love the Scripture the tell us how to deal with when someone has sin against us...that you go and tell them and if he wont hear you take a witness and if he still wont hear you take another witness and if he hears you then, then you gain your brother. ..The word if God encourage to tell the wrong so that it may not be repeated that is based on repentance. ..All forgiveness has to be done through repentance, no repentance no forgiveness. ..we have to speak the truth out of love and be honest with one another. ..
