Confession # 1452 Hi NCZ,...got to write with disappointment.I was qualified for NEET UG 2013 .This evening results came out.To my utter disappointment i was not selected because my marks was low.I was able to score 110 out of 700 marks and cut off marks that was taken by Nagaland govt was 121 marks and the highest score for Nagaland was 250 and number of candidates that was qualified under Nagaland quota according to NEET cbse was 598 and the cut off marks under NEET UG for ST categories was 90 .Now what i want to know is that.For those who were qualified in NEET UG but they were not selected by the state govt. why didnt the govt of Nagaland didnt made any announcements in newspapers and while submitting forms in directorate of technical education about cut off marks to be done while making selection process.If they had made earlier announcements that 121 marks will be cut off marks for those students who have been qualified under NEET exams.And those of us whose marks were below 121 we would have taken admission in other colleges as we will be knowing that we wont be selected through state quota.Why only 150 candidates were selected out of 598 qualified candidates.Now the question arises where will all those 448 candidates who have not been qualified will get admissions?.We are late we wont be getting admissions in Nagaland because we were waiting for state govt to distribute the seats.As we thought we were also qualified and we were hoping to get seats in Nagaland quota.This is unjustice for those 448 candidates who have not been selected by state govt. We will be very happy if somebody gives us some suggestions and tips what steps shall we take for those who were not selected. Thank you
