Confession 390: I recently posted here about how I found out my roommate/best friend cheated on her bf while he was away and how I was unsure as to whether or not I should let him know. You all told me it was none of my business and that I should keep to myself but I found out she was still cheating and it made my blood boil not because she lied to me about never doing it again but because she has been so insensitive to his familys situation. His mom is dying and shes complaining about how lonely SHE is! I told her either she came clean or I would and she believed I wouldnt go through with my threat but I did. He dumped her and I realized that I dont want to be friends with scum. Im moving out as soon as the semesters over and I couldnt be happier. I realized her ex is a real friend and an incredible person and Im going to stick by his side and be there for him because he really needs it. He thanked me for being honest and said the only good thing that came out of that relationship was my friendship. So to all you who hesitate to do good because its none of your business, I implore you to be honest and do whats right even if its the hardest thing to do. I can only hope my former friend learned a lesson about it. If you dont appreciate the people that care for you, they will find someone who does.
