Confession: I showed love to Flint ALL year. I pretty much been charging $50 flat for a record. That included original/exclusive production recording time and mixing... $50.. I remember a time that you had to wait months for me to do a $50 sale. But this year I was dedicated to the music. I have been blessed to turn music into a consistent and stable paycheck through teaching so I figured I would try to help the artist from my city. I done made bands off beats but money come and go.. I was focused on trying to help us develop a unique sound of our own (not no Detroit sound thats they sound that they grinded into popularity now a lot of folks trying to ride they bandwagon... to each his own doe..no judgment) at a more than affordable rate so there would be room left in the budget for marketing, distribution, etc. BUT THIS CITY...
