Confession time! Haha! This is my REALITY. Have you ever said to yourself Im going to have a little treat like ice cream! So, I buy a pint of Haagen-Dazs Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream. (OMG, Im a sucker for chocolate and peanut butter) I sit down and say Im only going to eat a 1/4 of this and then I will put it up. Ummmmmm my spoon hits the bottom about 15 mins later and I realize I didnt stop at a 1/4! What was a thinking? I NEVER buy that stuff and thought I could control my desire but obviously I cant! UGH! So what did I do? Beat myself up, Feel life a failure, Go purge my food, Get mad and frustrated? NOPE, none of them. I just said OK now I know WHY I dont put myself in those kind of situations. I ENJOYED every bite but I also realized it set me back from my goals. I put my own road block in the way and now its time to get back on track. Every journey has its ups and downs. How many times have you said I can handle a situation around food and later find out ummm no you cant? Plan, Prepare and Be Positive about every situation you find yourself in.
