Confessions Part 1: I know I inspire more young people especially back home so I will come out open so that my posts dont mislead them. I came with the right connections, the right people and a portifolio of Artivism. For the last 2 months it has been living the dream, well, that is all we all know about the great continent. It is known as the land of dreams where you can make life the way you want, well that aint right for as far as I know. Every country has its own problems, you will excuse me as that is my personal opinion.USA is a the land of dreams????? Of course how will I convince any of you especially when am living here with 3 artist assistants and double storeyed studio and people making things happen. Well, to cut the story short, I meet homeless people, hungry , asking for a dollar to have food for their families and majority of these are African Americans or Africans...I have managed to sit down and talk to a few of them, dont be lied to leaving your country for greener pastures( Of course am going to be contradicting myself here but remember that I got great connections and was invited) you can make it where you are. At least look around and see who is running your community NGOs. Enough of the messages asking me to bring lap tops, ipads, phones etc. Work hard for it is not as the picture is painted in movies or pictures on facebook. Finally, this is personal opinion and am only human. Have a great week ahead
