~ Confetti Fair pop-up in support of Cancer Councils Pink Ribbon ~ Friday 24 October 2014 from 8am until sold out ~ Introducing One Bite, our delightful macaron magician... I received a phone call from the amazing Claire one morning, in the midst of my crazy busy schedule with getting orders finished and myself due to fly out to Melbourne in three hours…I told her, whatever it is Claire, you have me on board. The moment I received the first confetti fair pop up email, and saw pink ribbon day, I was over the moon to be taking part. Being asked by Claire to take part in any Confetti Fair event amazing and being involved in an event to support Pink Ribbon is such an honour. Pink ribbon day and breast cancer awareness month is a very important time for many around the world, as they either remember those they have lost or they fight to survive to battle this sickness. For me, its one that I remember, as I lost my grandmother to this sickness. She passed away at the early age of 51, I never even got the privilege to meet the amazing person she was. That was due to lack of research and treatment back in those days to find a cure for breast cancer. So every year, my family and I, do our little part to donate to the breast cancer foundation and any cancer council fund raisers. As our tribute to being that one step closer to helping find a cure for breast cancer. So this pop up party is my tribute and donation to this year’s pink ribbon day. To support a great cause to Fight breast cancer and find cure. So come down to Martin Place, it just takes One Bite to help a find a cure for us women.
