Confidential Discipline - Since February 26, 2014, the EOIR Disciplinary Counsel issued confidential discipline to 11 attorneys for the following misconduct: misrepresenting an alien’s eligibility for cancellation of removal; filing a frivolous motion to reopen (4); failing to file biometrics in a timely manner; filing an untimely motion to withdraw; filing a frivolous cancellation of removal application with the court; filing a frivolous appeal; filing frivolous applications for relief and for bond; and, failing to timely withdraw from a case.
