Confirmed: An accused robber was nabbed and an illegal firearm was seized in a section of Negril, Westmoreland, while a man has been hospitalised. The robbery attempt reportedly took place sometime after 3 am along a section of the Norman Manley Boulevard when an armed man held up a male victim and attempted to rob him. The victim resisted and he was shot, however during a tussle, he managed to relieve the robber of his gun. Police were alerted, the robber was nabbed and an illegal gun was seized. Meanwhile, the injured man was taken to hospital, where he has been admitted.
