Confirmed: An alleged gunman who is accused of carrying out an attack on Corey Todd, the former business associate of Vybz Kartel in St. James yesterday has been identified. He is 25-year-old Corey Grant a resident of Kingston 2. Todd was reportedly in the process of his closing down his Taboo nightclub for the night sometime after 4 am, when two men drove up on a motorcycle. One of the men identified as Grant approached Todd and shot him twice in the arm. The businessman reportedly sought refuge in his motor vehicle, as the gunman continued fire shots at him. An off-duty police officer then challenged the armed man and fatally shot him, while the other gunman escaped on the motorcycle. Todd was taken to hospital and is reportedly in serious condition. An illegal gun was recovered from the deceased gunman. A motive for the attack has not yet been ascertained.
