Confirmed by AP the decommissioned carrier Constellation has broken the free from the Corbins tow lines.the Corbin, the tug boat assigned to deliver the retired naval carrier to a Texas scrap yard located off the Texas gulf coast. The bridge on the Corbin has confirmed that person or person had made contact with them as the carrier broke free. We felt a violent jerk, the lines all snapped as if the had been cut, then noticed the carrier did a 30 degree right rudder turn , after about a mile and half out from us, straighten her course heading due west. When asked about the unknown contact from the the Constellation the captain of the Corbin replied, It was clear that who ever made contact with us was in control of the ship, when we asked over and over to identify yourself the only reply we got over the radio was. This is the USS CONSTELLATION, our speed, 15 knots, we are making way to come along side the SARATOGA heading..Second star on the right and straight on til morning, When asked what did he think that meant, the captain looked over the bow of his tug, Its the location of Never Never land.. the place where you never get old.
