Congrats grade 9s and your respective schools, Ten students from various schools within the Kanifing Municipality (KM) and the West Coast Region (WCR) have scored aggregate six in the 2013 Gambia Basic Education Certificate Examination (GABECE), a press release from the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has disclosed. The 10 students, the release further disclosed are; Eliana Jarju, St Peters Upper Basic; Tuty Kujabi, Ndow’s Comprehensive Upper Basic; Haddyjatou Jah, Gambia Methodist Academy; Abdourahman Bah, Brufut Upper Basic; Jainaba Sonko St Therea’ Upper Basic; Amie A Jammeh, Ndow’s Comprehensive Upper Basic; Kawsu Gitteh, Ndow’s Comprehensive Upper Basic; Saikou Ceesay, 22nd July Academy; Amadou T Jallow, SOS Hermann Gmeiner and Oduro Derek Asiamah, Gambia Methodist Academy. Meanwhile, the release disclosed that the total number of candidates who entered for the examination was 20,972 students of which 10,307 male and 10,665 female. “Candidates are to receive their individual results from their respective schools.
