Congrats to all my teammates this weekend! Everyone did great. Marla Williams brought home the gold. Nilo got double gold winning his division and absolute. Kayla Patterson won gold in her first tournament as a purple belt, winning her division and getting silver in absolute. Tj Kownack won silver. Nicole Iglesias got double bronze. Her division and absolute. Christy Osborn got bronze. Jeromy Murphy won bronze. Jeremy and Mark Miller fought hard, and had some beast competition. I think Jeremy broke his hand, fighting so hard. And last but not least, our coach Joel Gingery won double gold. His division and winning the absolute. Not a single person scored a point on him. Im so proud of our team. And I cant stress how awesome it is to have a coach like Joel. He has absolutely nothing to prove. He could sit back and just teach, and we would still think the world of him. But he still trains his tail off and continues to compete, being an example for the rest of us. He would never say this or claim it, but the results speak for themselves.. Hes one of the best in the world. Not only did he compete, but he coached every match he possibly could. I truly believe we have the best team and best coaches on the planet! Oss
