Congrats to our Southeast Asian (SEA) Games marathon champion Mok - TopicsExpress

Congrats to our Southeast Asian (SEA) Games marathon champion Mok Ying Ren for being the FIRST Singaporean to cross the finishing line at the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon over the weekend with a timing of 2 hours 53 minutes 42 seconds. Despite having to deal with a shin injury for the past couple of months, your tenacity has showed us that nothing is impossible! If that wasn’t enough for us to rejoice about, local distance runner Soh Rui Yong, who is currently based in United States, met the SEA Games 2015 marathon qualifying mark of 2:30:30, by clocking an incredible timing of 2:26:01 at the California International Marathon yesterday morning. This is the fastest time recorded by a Singaporean this year. What a stellar performance for someone making his marathon debut! We are also extremely proud of Ashley Liew who recently clocked 2:35:39 at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. He becomes the second fastest Singaporean of 2014. Amazing job put up by three of our Singaporean distance runners! We at Official Sundown Marathon Singapore are extremely proud of all of your remarkable achievements! Rock on guys!
