Congrats to todays Trivia Tuesday champ, Lolly Meyer, who was quick to name the Plaindealer as the McHenry-based publication boasting a circulation of 5,700 and an annual subscription rate of $5 in the late 1960s. She also knew that its editor at the time, and for many years, was Adele Froehlich. Lolly additionally noted that her grandmother, Grace Meyer, was among a select group of people who, over the years, compiled the popular and long-running Twice Told Tales column.
