Congratulations Louie Luigori 2013 South Carolina Coach of theYear! Louie Luigori is the head coach and owner of Gymnastics and More in Little River. He has been coaching in South Carolina since 1993. His competitive team known as the “Ocean Flippers” have made their mark on SC gymnastics and the Region as well. Louie currently has one of the largest optional level teams in our State. Since opening his gym in South Carolina, he has had three gymnasts on the Junior National team and twelve Level 10 athletes receive a full gymnastics scholarship. He currently has six Ocean Flipper Alumni competing in college’s across the country. Louie has also generously contributed his coaching expertise by hosting and volunteering at training camps on the State and Regional level. He has also opened his gym to work with other SC athletes that needed help in training a specific skill. In addition Louie also dedicated his time to South Carolina Gymnastics by serving as the (843) area representative on the State Administrative committee for many years. Louie has a special gift in working with upper level athletes. He continues to have more athletes who choose to stay in the sport until graduation and beyond. It is with great pleasure that South Carolina recognizes Louie as the 2013 SC Coach of the Year for his outstanding accomplishments and dedication to SC Gymnastics. Congratulations Louie!
