Congratulations Madena Reimer, Robert Heinz, and Cody and Eva Borek!!! Central Albertas Most Loving Person is a contest that was created by a local couple in search of a deserving person to give away a 2-person, five day trip to Hawaii. Aspen Ford in Stettler were giving away trips to Hawaii for anyone who purchased a vehicle from them, however, when Cody and Eva Borek purchased their vehicle, they decided to give the trip away to a deserving Albertan instead of keeping the trip for themselves. Their search for Central Albertans most loving person sparked international attention, and over 15,000 nominees were received. The couple narrowed down the nominees to 10 people, and drawing these names out of a hat, Madena Reimer was picked! After originally being nominated, Reimer had written Its amazing how all the little insignificant things you did in a lifetime, all the random acts of kindness, they come back to show you one day, how they made a difference. You do this because of love for others, not for recognition, prizes, or awards; it’s just the right thing to do. ...but the evening wasnt done yet! Tim Berry, owner of Aspen Ford came out and surprised everyone by donating more trips. RCMP Constable Robert Heinz received a trip, and another trip was donated to the fundraiser in honor of our fallen RCMP Officers who were shot earlier this month. Finally, Berry gave one more trip away, to Cody and Eva Borek themselves! A BIG THANK YOU to Aspen Ford and Cody and Eva Borek!!!
