Congratulations Mir Arif Ali for getting elected as the District Governor Nominee 2016-17 in the elections held at the Rotarys Annual District Conference in Islamabad with a margin of 63 to 54. Thank you District Governor Iftikhar Ahmed for holding free and fair elections. Credit goes to the Credentials Committee (PDG Hidayat ullah Khan, PDG Rauf Rohaila and Past President Satwat Butt) for carefully validating credentials of all the participating clubs. Similarly, credit goes to the Balloting Committee (PDG M Saeed Shamsi, PP Ch Sultan Mahmood and PP Nafeer A Malik) for looking after the voting process in a transparent manner. Taking clue from the theme of the Conference (Conference of Change), let this be a Ballot of Change. Let us all work together to bring peace and harmony in the District. Let us all work together to bring back sanity in Rotary. Time to focus on continue to keep doing good in the community and in the world, and to keep helping the underprivileged around us.
