Congratulations! The combined efforts of our elected officials have paid off - not for the people of Pennsylvania theyre supposed to represent, but for themselves in the form of outrageous campaign donations from corporate lobbyists, a ticket to pass through the revolving door between corporations and politics, Superbowl tickets, VIP gas leases (no conflict of interest here, right Senator Yaw?), SuperPAC donations, dark money donations via Friends of (fill in the name of the elected official), etc. Yes, its good ol boy back room politics is alive and well in Pennsylvania, and our less-than-stellar elected officials deserve all the credit. I would also like to say that I have no doubt that the election of Taxing Tom Wolf(D) will not get in the way, or impede our legislatures ability to make PA #1 on the most corrupt state list. I have a tremendous amount of faith in our elected officials to make the PA legislature the worst government that dirty money could buy. Just ask previous governors Tom Ridge(R), Mark Schweiker(R), and Fast Eddie Rendell(D) how the like their new positions as high paid lobbyists for the oil and gas industry, and they will no doubt be joined by our soon-to-be ex-governor Toxic Tom Corbett(R) to do more lying and denying for dollars as they shill for shale on a global scale.
