Congratulations, Tita Esper Tours Holyland for bringing such an honor not only to our family but to the rest of Pulilan. Proud to be a Navarro! Sometime on July 2014, we sent a letter to the Archdiocese of Palo, Leyte expressing our desire to make the best chair that we will do in our lifetime for Pope Francis when he goes to Tacloban, in which His Excellency Archbishop John Du replied positively. After so many consultations on the wood, design and fabric, we came up with a mahogany pearlized white with highlights of gold chair inspired by the Pastoral Crozier of St. John Paul II. Behind Pope Francis head, upper portion, is his coat of arms and on the back is a cushioned cross with the 4 evangelists, St. John, St.Mark, St. Luke and St. Matthew, designed by Esper Navarro-Santos of Pulilan, Bulacan. Added to this are mahogany chairs russet oak varnished with red fabric for 30 Bishops, all these from our hearts. -Esper Navarro Santos
