Congratulations! ULNS has achieved a new, 5 year term of NAEYC accreditation. The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) has an 80-year history defining quality programs serving young children. NAEYC accreditation requires our program to meet the highest standards in early childhood education over ten areas which include close to 400 criteria in our Program and Classroom Portfolios. Annually, we are reviewed and every five years a NAEYC accreditation assessor spends two full days observing the classrooms and management. The assessor’s results are reviewed by the Commission and a decision is made whether a program receives accreditation. ULNS has proudly maintained its’ accreditation since 1996.
