Congratulations USA !!! Our National Debt reached $17 Trillion Friday. Thats up from $16 Trillion just last Sept. 4, 2012. Arent you as excited as me? The debt cap increase is the sixth one since Obama took office in 2009, when the nations debt was at $10.6 trillion, so the $17.05 trillion mark is an increase of nearly 60 percent. Congress and President Obama have whined for 2 weeks that the US could be broke if it defaulted. Seems to me it had a problem $17 Trillion ago. Where is our real leaders? Of coarse the number that I am about to post will have increased. But, the actual USA National Debt at the moment that I post this is + $17,038,571,000,000. Thats $ 53,760 per person. Thats $ 148,745 per taxpayer.
