Congratulations and happy #1113 & #1114 DOGs of the Week go to Nasreen and Bernie Chowdhury. Bernie is in his 19 year old DUI CF200X drysuit on the left and Nasreen and Bernie in their new DUI drysuits on the right. Hi DUI, I am sending you two photos. The first one is my wife Nasreen and I in our new DUI CF200X drysuits. The second photo Olga Torrey took while I was diving in my 19 year old DUI CF200X drysuit. 2013 marked my 29th year as a certified scuba diver. Since 1990, I’ve been diving a DUI CF200X drysuit, my favorite. It’s rugged and holds up well to wrecks and caves. Even tight squeezes in Iceland’s jagged lava caves posed no threat to the integrity of the CF200X. November 10, 2013 was a sunny Sunday -- a nice day to be teaching required technical diving safety drills to some of my students. We were at Dutch Springs quarry, near Bethlehem, PA, getting ready for our ocean decompression dives. I ran into my friends Larry Cohen and Olga Torrey, both of whom are outstanding photographers and fellow members of the Manhattan-based New York City Sea Gypsies Dive Club. I asked if they wouldn’t mind taking some shots of me collecting sediment samples. The shots would be used during presentations at dive shows, clubs, and as part of a Research Diver course that I would be co-teaching with my wife, Associate Professor Dr. Nasreen S. Haque (New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY). It was with sadness that after 19 years of use I had to retire my orange CF200X. And with happiness I this year I became the proud owner of a brand new DUI Signature Series CF200X; for a change in color I chose blue. My wife also has the same color in her drysuit. We love diving our DUI drysuits. Bernie Chowdhury Middletown, NY
