Congratulations and thank you to all the players and everyone who has been involved with the organisation of the team this season. Season 2014/2015: Captain: Darren Tiffney Vice Captain: Phillip Dalladay-Simpson At last nights Player Of The Year evening the main awards went to: Phillip Dalladay-Simpson - Players Player of the Year. James Howden - Most Improved James Cunningham - Best Newcomer Andy Fife - Man of the 7s The inaugural Man Of Steel award went to Ruaraidh McKessock-Leitch (Doc) Darren Tiffney - Top points scorer Chris McKenzie - Top try scorer All very deserving winners but the whole squad have put in a monumental effort this season to put us on the position that were in. Weve still to see how things develop in this regard and the next few weeks should be interesting... Thank you to Chris McKenzie, our outgoing Vice Captain for his efforts this season and to Fran for doing match-day Physio. Also Kevin Roarty for all his (unseen) work regarding player registration and fixtures etc. To Mike and Janice Hood for sponsoring the food and to all our sponsors. Without your input, the rugby squad wouldnt have been able function as well as it has. So thank you once again. Special mention to Paul Basterina Millar who celebrated his 21st birthday with us too and to Andy McLaggan who despite his youthful looks has decided to retire from playing. A fantastic player, all-round great guy, who leads by example in his calm, assured way and who after playing rugby for 37 years has never been shown a card of any colour by a referee.
