Congratulations once again to our dear Eye Level student, Stephan Marcus Ong, for being one of the delegates of the Philippine Team who won first runner-up overall in the group contest and merit award in the team contest in 17th Po Leung Kuk World Primary Mathematics Contest held in Hong Kong last July 14-18, 2014. The Philippine Team members who won the said award are John Henry Marquez of UP Integrated School, Stefan Marcus Ong and Steven Ting Reyes of St. Jude Catholic School, and William Joshua King of Bethany Baptist School. In the individual contest, Marquez, Ong and Reyes won the country’s three gold medals and King won a silver medal. Besides the Philippines, other countries that participated in the contest were the US, Australia, Bulgaria, China, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan and Thailand. Again, congratulations! You made your Eye Level family so proud of you!
