The Master Communications Officer (MCO) program is designed to provide the non - supervisory communications officer with a voluntary and challenging career development plan through which he or she can obtain professional distinction. In order to obtain this distinction one must meet the following criteria: Min. 3 years experience with in the Egg Harbor Township Police Department’s Communications Center Receive a score of 12 or more points on each of their last 2 personnel evaluations. No disciplinary suspensions or the equivalent, totaling more than five days, in the previous five years. Accumulate at least 5 points of Technical Proficiency in various areas related to a Communications Officer.
