Congratulations to Brendan Ma of James Ruse Agricultural High School in Carlingford, who has been selected to represent Australia at the Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUM) in the Netherlands in early 2015. Brendan will embark on a journey across Europe from Budapest to Amsterdam to examine conflict, peacekeeping and international relations, consulting with embassies in Berlin, Paris and The Hague and engaging with the UN, UN Human Rights Commission (UNHCR) and World Health Organisation (WHO) in Geneva, along with major NGOs. Brendan is an outstanding future leader, a current Salvos Ambassador, an accomplished public speaker and NSW debating representative.
