Congratulations to Catriona Moon and Leila who finished 6th from 21 starters at the Ermelo CEI*** 160km in the Netherlands yesterday at an average speed of 14.4 kph. Only 10 horses finished the tough course. Well done Catriona and Leila! Sadly, our other British entrants did not fare so well. Annie Joppe and Fantom rode a cracking ride up with the front runners, with the slickest presentation times of the day, but heartbreakingly Fantom trotted up lame for the final vetting. Alex Tennant and Earlsdon made it to 120km but unfortunately their ride was over as Earlsdon was vetted out lame. Sally Hall and HS Emlin were entered in the CEI** 120km but they were also out lame at the 3rd vetgate. Bad luck ladies. We hope all your horses come home in good shape and have safe journeys.
