Congratulations to Councillor Pauleen Grahame: tonight local members of the Labour Party voted (unanimously) for her to be our candidate on 7 May 2015 to again be the Councillor for Crossgates and Whinmoor. Im delighted that on 7 May next year myself and Pauleen will be standing together as candidates - Pauleen as a candidate to be (re)elected as Labour Councillor for Crossgates and Whinmoor and me standing as the Labour candidate to be Member of Parliament for East Leeds, following the retirement of our current (Labour) MP, George Mudie. Im proud to work alongside Pauleen, who has an encyclopedic knowledge of our local area and who cares deeply about local people and our communities.
