Congratulations to Golden Gate North staff for becoming IDA Certified Detailers. On Thursday April 24th four employees of Golden Gate North located in Santa Rosa, CA took the course to become Certified Detailers. The IDA Certified Detailer designation is a great achievement and demonstrates a basic mastery of the knowledge and applied skills needed to be an accomplished detailing professional. The entire program consists of an intensive one-day course covering all aspects of detailing. At the conclusion of the course the students took and passed 10 exams. Each exam consists of 10-20 questions each, covering these subject areas: Equipment, Chemicals, Glass Cleaning, Interior Detailing, Leather Interior Technology, Paint Correction & Protection, Wheels & Tires, Prep Wash/Wash Bay, Detailing Terminology and Safety & Compliance. The Certified Detailers are Dan Damonte - CD, Jason Carl - CD, Tony Liscum - CD and Shamus Stafford – CD. This is a big accomplishment in our industry and demonstrates their commitment to our profession. As part of the program Golden Gate North also joined the IDA as a supplier member.
