Congratulations to Griffen Ellis and the under15s Berkeleyvale Panthers .After securing the minor Premiership in the final regular season match the moral and belief that they could beat the second place WoyWoy Roosters in the major semi to advance to the grand final was high . The Panthers hadnt actually defeated The Roosters in any 3 of there matchups this year however one match was a trial game and the other two games were both close matches.The panthers came out strong scoring an early try and then Griffen scored another to take the lead out to 10 .Woywoy then scored a few minutes later but failed the conversion ,the score at halftime was 10-4. The panthers came out hard again in second half scored another try but failed to convert to take the score to 14 -4 .It was at this stage Woy Woy lifted and score two quick trys locking the game up at 14 a piece.With minutes to go Berkeleyvale knocks on late in the tackle count only 10 metres away from the tryline ,the scrum packs and the berkelyvale hooker performs some magic wins the scrum against the feed with the lock breaking from the scrum with ball and scoring Panthers win the game 18-14 and are now through to the Grand Final yaaaaahoooooo!!! Bring it home boys
