Congratulations to Kristen Strawbridge, the Illinois Director for HSUS. She worked tirelessly to get our new consumer Puppy Lemon Law passed. Of course a huge thank you to Governor Quinn for signing this bill. How much do we love our legislators that love animals and want to protect them! Great work. Hopefully this first step will alert Illinois consumers about the real origin of the puppies in the pet stores so they will stop buying them.
