Congratulations to Lanny Swerdlow for winning the civil suit against Paul Chabot for Lannys false arrest after Lanny successfully defended himself in the trumped up assault charge. All this was brought about because Paul wanted to exclude Lanny from attending a Chabot sponsored anti-marijuana event. Paul clearly lost it at least three times: when he flew out of control and precipitated the initial confrontation at the event; and twice now in the courtroom attempting to justify this behavior. Lanny is my hero, representing himself, to secure these court victories. The punitive award warranted for this malicious personal attack on Lanny should be high enough to dissuade other Cannaphobes from similar personal illegal fanatical actions, devoid of reason, civility, and restraint. Paul Chabot needs anger management, impulse control, and to adopt a higher frustration tolerance level when dealing with folks, like Lanny, that disagree with him. The monetary award needs be high enough to both punish him personally, and motivate him to get the treatment he needs to stop such behavior. Go Lanny! All for one,.. and one for all. You won a big one for all of us. Thanks!
