Congratulations to Leadership Howard County on receiving the 2014 Holland Award at Community Action Council of Howard Countys 19th annual Holland Dinner tonight! It’s an honor to chair the board of a phenomenal organization like CAC, and its dedicated staff never ceases to amaze me. And it was a privilege to have the opportunity to meet our keynote speaker tonight, CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux CNN, who not only shared her unique perspective of leaders she’s interviewed, but is also a hometown native of Columbia who got her start right here at Swansfield Elementary School.
