Congratulations to Matthew VanDyke and Marshall Currys film about him, entitled Point and Shoot! The film just won the Best Documentary Award at Tribeca Film Festival. When I was in Libya, I came across an article about an American who disappeared in Brega a couple of weeks earlier when I went to Ajdabiya. I cant tell you the sheer joy I felt when I heard he was released from six months in prison hell when Tripoli fell. I have watched Matts endeavors with great interest over the years, including his trip to Syria. I was lucky enough to watch his chilling documentary about the conflict, entitled, Not Not Anymore: A Story of Revolution, which has garnered over 50 awards in film festivals worldwide. Very happy to see Matt find some of the success that he clearly deserves.
