There still are very few broadcast avenues for Phils work, (which NZOA music manager categorised as Alternative music in a recent discussion on the topic), mostly on National Radio and some community stations. Weve still got a fair way to go in achieving real diversity and acceptance of our wide range of musical output in NZ and NZ on Air has a long way to go in ensuring national treasures like the works of Phil are able to be heard easily by the ears of NZers.
