Judging by the intensity of the campaign and the arm-twisting that was involved throughout the period it lasted, one can say with all sincerity that the outcome was a reflection of the amount of work put in, to make it happen. The outcome is a clear demonstration the politics of imposition and godfatherism is fast becoming a thing of the past, regardless of the might and position of any person or group of persons who think they can manipulate or muzzle the people to do their bids. The hero of this epic contest were the delegates who appeared to have voted based on their conviction rather than the machination and might of an allotropic governor who never stopped changing his state until he ran into a log jam that got his nose bloodied. You must as a matter of urgency commence an unconditional fence-mending mission to close ranks with various opponents within your party in order to confront the daunting challenge that is certain to be stiff in the election proper.
