Congratulations to Serenity Salon and Day Spa and its principals, Theresa Cipriani and Nicole Goad. Serenity was selected from amongst all of SCORE New Haven’s clients as its showcase success story, and was recognized as such at Connecticut SCORE’s 50th anniversary celebration. These two amazing young women represent the very finest example of imagination, entrepreneurship, dedication, and hard work, and show that the American dream is still out there. And in addition to being exemplary business persons, these two sisters are also examples of what constitutes outstanding employers. One expects to continue to see great things from these fantastic ladies. Incidentally, this is not the first time this enterprise has been recognized. In 2010, Theresa was honored with the Connecticut Small Business Administration’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
