Congratulations to Stephanie Austin, RCS lead school psychologist/crisis coordinator, for being selected the recipient ofthe first annual PBIS Leadership Award for her outstanding efforts to support Positive Behavior Intervention and Support in North Carolina. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive systems approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional and academic success. Ms. Austin was recognized at the PBIS State Recognition Celebration and Workshop on November 4, 2014, at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, NC. Congratulations, Ms. Austin!
