However, Vermezovic says he is proud of the way his players performed even though they were knocked out of the competition, and failed to reach their sixth consecutive cup final. Congratulations to our players, especially for the second half, after two weeks [dealing with] an unusual situation in life. They were brave today to come out and play football, and they tried, but we couldnt do anything more. It was too much pressure, and for me to analyse this game now would be unfair, adds the former Kaizer Chiefs coach. VV expressed delight at the upcoming international break, and says that he wil use the time to try and help the players refocus their attention on football.
