Congratulations to all the cadets of Winter Combined Training Contingent Fort Lee! This has been the best Sea Cadet Training Contingent I have had the honor of serving. STEM and POLA Cadets - I hope you have enjoyed your training as much as we enjoyed working with you. I loved seeing your focus, professionalism and interest. Former recruits - Your self discipline, attitude, and motivation was inspiring. Your parents should be very proud of you and of themselves for raising such great young men and women. I am confident that all of you will return to your units and be an asset. Thank you, staff cadets, for your positive leadership, tireless effort and teamwork. You have just proven that you do not have to break a recruits spirit to make them into a basically trained Sea Cadet. I am sure these (former) recruits will remember you all as role models and mentors, and I hope they aspire to be like you as they move through the ranks. And to the officer staff - it has been an absolute pleasure and honor to work with you. For a group of strangers to come together and become a cohesive team in such a short amount of time was nothing short of miraculous. There was nothing you wouldnt do for these cadets and I appreciate your selfless dedication. I look forward to seeing all of you at future trainings. Bravo Zulu everyone - Mission Accomplished.
