Congratulations to all who finished the Texas Water Safari this year!!! What were your favorite memories from the race this year? I kinda enjoyed climbing down the steep muddy bank at Dupont with water jugs. Then, tying myself to a rope so I could hang out over the river where a small alligator was swimming around to hand my team water. I also enjoyed watching my team (Virginia and Morgan) come through SWB. They made a quick repair, snapped on the spray skirt. Morgan with firm confidence told Virginia they were going to double blade to the seawall and left her single blade paddle. They took off with great determination to win. I found it very inspiring.
