The best thing to do when you come to Solent is to join a sports team/society and try something new, Solent Redhawks American Football gives you the perfect opportunity to do both, 57 people signed up to play last year with only 5 of those had played before coming to Solent, every year we will many complete beginners to our team. If you join us there are plenty of great benefits to being a Redhawk: - Busy and varied social life with 2 weekly socials alongside team meals, Xbox/PS4 competitions, table tennis tournaments, beer pong tournaments plus having 50+ people to socialise with -Cheerleading squad at every game provided by our close friends Solent Ravens Cheerleading! - Team strength and conditioning sessions run by a former NCAA and NFL player - A vastly experienced coaching staff with over 14 National Championships between them and 4 Represented for GB or Ireland - Tour! The team goes every year to Salou, Spain for a week of Sport and the odd pint… every player comes back saying it was the best week of their lives and is something every uni student should experience!
