Congratulations to our friend Sergio Rosato, who was recently awarded the rare Gold Papal Medal from Pope Francis, for Sergios leadership and courage during last years bushfire disaster in Sydneys Blue Mountains. In 2013, as the fires in the Blue Mountains came right up to the edge of St Thomas Aquinas Primary School, the principal, Sergio Rosario, lead 550 school children calmly out of the school to safety, while his own home, just streets away, burned to the ground. Amongst all of his possessions that he lost was Mr Rosarios Maton guitar, which he used to play for the children at school and for the congregation at his local church. The Wiggles were happy to play a special concert for the children, some of whom had lost their houses too. At the end of the show, The Wiggles presented Sergio with a replacement guitar from our friends at Maton. Congratulations Mr Rosato! Read news article: bit.ly/SergioRosato
