Congratulations to our very own Cindy Higgins. You will be missed tremendously at CCS Administrator Honored Mrs. Cindy Higgins, Director of Instruction and Pupil Personnel Services, was honored at an event held on May 9, 2013. Mrs. Higgins is the worthy recipient of a Distinguished Service Award recognizing the many contributions she has made to the Clinton Central School District. As stated by her nominator: “I know of no stronger advocate for the welfare of children than Cindy Higgins. Though I have worked with her for only four short years, I know that her 32 years in education and 21 years in the Clinton Central Schools tell the story of a woman dedicated to the growth and learning of ALL children. Cindy is a passionate, selfless, energetic, optimistic problem solver who instills, in everyone around her, the desire to perform at their highest possible level, and succeed”. On March 1, 2013, Cindy announced her retirement effective at the end of the school year. The Distinguished Service Award is an appropriate recognition for all that she has done for the children of the Clinton Central School District.
