Congratulations to participants (including out-of-town team members, UMKC student advocates, bailiffs, jurors and judges) at the Show Me Challenge Voir Dire Competition and the Ellison Moot Court Competition for overcoming a fire in the electrical system at the Charles E. Whittaker Federal Courthouse yesterday and successfully completing both competitions at UMKC. Good thing we have two great courtrooms and terrific students, faculty and staff that helped prevent the emergency at the courthouse from interfering with the competitions. Interesting day!
