Congratulations to student Lindsey Pellittieri, recipient of the Governor’s Initiative for Volunteer Excellence (GIVE) Awards in the division of Outstanding Service by a College Student! These awards are given annually by Volunteer Mississippi and the Office of Governor Phil Bryant to reward Mississippians who make a difference in their communities and state. We are excited to announce that Lindsey was the only student selected in this category to receive this honor. Her outstanding volunteer service includes one 300-hour term with AmeriCorps, and she is currently enrolled in her second year. Pellittieri also actively participates in break trips and volunteers regularly at events sponsored by the #SouthernMiss Center for Community and Civic Engagement. #SMTTT!
