Congratulations to the Bridgeport Bulls (Class 4A) and Bosqueville Bulldogs (2A) for being selected Army Strong Teams of the Week in Week Two. In a game that featured more than 100 points and 1,200 total yards, Bulls DB Lane Morrow’s interception in the fourth overtime sealed a wild 56-48 victory over Boyd. Meanwhile, down 16-7 at halftime on the road against state title hopeful Hubbard, the Bulldogs rallied, capped by Drew Hayes’ 13-yard go-ahead touchdown run to grab a 21-16 victory. Each week, TexasFootball and the U.S. Army join together to select one team from every classification in high school football that demonstrates the qualities exhibited within the Army. Those include leadership, commitment to excellence and a desire to make a difference as a member of a team. Each team is awarded the Army Strong Team of the Week by local officials from the U.S. Army at a school assembly or pep rally.
